The International School of Curitiba (ISC) seeks a dedicated and enthusiastic Physical Education (PE) Teacher to join our Middle School team. The ideal candidate will design and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate physical activities that promote motor skills, teamwork, and a love for movement among students. 

• Plan and deliver age-appropriate PE lessons that support gross motor development, physical fitness, and social interaction.
• Co-Coordinate the Middle School House Cup Program and align with other MS Community event  leaders 
• Integrate play-based and exploratory learning techniques to encourage participation and enjoyment.
• Promote holistic student development through instruction in physical fitness, coordination, health education, and team sports.
• Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for students to explore movement.
• Establish routines and rules to ensure safety and positive behavior during activities.
• Provide meaningful assessments and feedback on student progress, maintain accurate records, and communicate regularly with families.
• Work closely with classroom teachers to align physical activities with broader educational themes and objectives.
• Contribute to the broader school community by organizing or supporting sports days, after-school programs, or wellness initiatives.
• Maintain and organize PE equipment and materials, ensuring safety and functionality.
• Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other teachers and staff to coordinate activities and ensure a cohesive educational experience.
• Cultural Sensitivity: Foster an inclusive classroom that respects and celebrates cultural diversity.

• Bachelor's degree (licenciatura) in Physical Education.
• Active CREF Registration.
• Experience teaching PE in an international school setting is preferred.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Passion for physical activity and a commitment to promoting healthy lifestyles.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Additional Skills:
• Proficiency in sports coaching and officiating.
• Knowledge of first aid and CPR.
• Fluency in English is essential.
