The Mid-Level Purchasing Analyst at the International School of Curitiba is responsible for managing and executing end-to-end procurement processes, ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services that meet ISC’s quality standards. This role plays a key part in maintaining transparent, ethical, and efficient purchasing operations that support the school’s educational mission.

  • Manage the full procurement cycle, including request analysis, supplier sourcing, price negotiation, order placement, and delivery follow-up.
  • Ensure timely delivery of goods and services in accordance with school requirements.
  • Monitor inventory levels and anticipate needs for supplies, materials, and equipment.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, ensuring the best pricing, quality, and service standards.
  • Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness.
  • Monitor purchasing activities to ensure compliance with budgetary limits and financial goals.
  • Maintain accurate purchasing records, including purchase orders, receipts, and supplier invoices.
  • Prepare cost analysis and reporting for senior management and finance.
  • Ensure that all purchasing activities comply with the school’s policies, legal requirements, and best practices.
  • Prepare and manage procurement reports for internal and external audits.
  • Collaborate with other departments to understand their needs and ensure proper materials and supplies are sourced.
  • Support the Facilities, IT, and HR departments in sourcing specific materials or services as needed.
  • Continuously review and improve procurement practices aligned with market trends and institutional goals.
  • Performs other related duties as required or assigned.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Technical English/Conversational English.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in purchasing or supply chain management, ideally in an educational environment.

  • Be adaptable to a wide range of situations, and work independently as well as part of a
collaborative team.
  • Must be flexible and able to assess and change priorities, and can effectively problem solve.
  • Must interact respectfully with others and work successfully in a team environment.
