- Develop, implement, and document Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students with identified learning needs, in collaboration with classroom teachers, families, and specialized staff.
- Ensure IEPs are completed in accordance with legal and institutional protocols, including obtaining required digital signatures from all meeting participants.
- Monitor and update documentation to reflect ongoing student progress and adjustments to support plans.
- Provide targeted and differentiated instruction based on students’ individual needs.
- Support classroom teachers in designing inclusive learning environments that reflect best practices in Special Education and utilize a Universal Design for Learning (UDL) approach.
- Collect and analyze data to evaluate student progress and inform instructional adjustments.
- Maintain accurate, confidential, and legally compliant student records.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, counselors, and specialists to align strategies and ensure a cohesive support system.
- Communicate regularly with families to foster trust and shared accountability in supporting student development.
- Facilitate IEP meetings, case discussions, and professional learning community meetings(PLCs).
- Engage in continuous professional learning in the field of Special Education.
- Contribute to the development of an inclusive culture and uphold ISC’s Student Safeguarding Policy.
- Bachelor’s Degree/Licenciatura in Pedagogy.
- Post-graduate qualification in Special Education.
- Strong understanding of diverse learning profiles, including specific learning disabilities, neurodevelopmental disorders, and social-emotional needs.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Learning Support or Special Education, preferably in an international school setting.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
- Proficiency in English (oral and written).
- Master’s degree preferred.
