The Network & Infrastructure Analyst is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining a secure, reliable, and scalable network infrastructure that supports the school’s academic and operational needs. This role ensures high availability, performance monitoring, cybersecurity compliance, and seamless integration between on-premises and cloud environments, while providing technical support and collaborating with the IT team to enhance digital learning and operational efficiency.

- Design, implement, and administer secure and reliable network infrastructure, including on-premises environments supporting 1,000+ daily active devices with high availability.
- Configure, deploy, and manage L2/L3 network devices (routers, switches, firewalls), as well as oversee end-to-end management of wired and wireless networks, including WLC configurations.
- Proactively monitor infrastructure performance using tools such as Zabbix and Grafana, and perform advanced troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve connectivity issues.
- Configure and maintain network security protocols, firewall policies, and access controls, including Active Directory administration, ensuring LGPD compliance and mitigating security incidents.
- Identify vulnerabilities, mitigate threats, and actively participate in cybersecurity incident response across on-premises and cloud environments.
- Support the migration and integration of applications and data into cloud platforms (GCP, Azure, AWS), optimizing resource utilization and maintaining robust security practices.
- Plan and oversee structured cabling projects, ensuring technical compliance, reliability, and scalability.
- Document network configurations, security procedures, and incident response plans to maintain knowledge continuity and operational resilience.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and collaborate with IT staff to resolve technical issues and implement infrastructure and security improvements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Strong understanding of network protocols, TCP/IP, network security concepts, and current cybersecurity threats.
- Demonstrated experience with network troubleshooting, problem-solving methodologies, and incident response practices.
- Working knowledge of cloud computing concepts and services (AWS, Azure, GCP), including their security features.
- Proficiency in English (oral and written) is essential.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and meet deadlines in a dynamic school environment.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality customer service and user support.
- Experience with network automation tools such as Ansible or Python scripting for infrastructure and security automation.
- Familiarity with network monitoring tools including Nagios, PRTG, Zabbix, and Grafana.
- Experience with network security solutions such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and endpoint protection platforms.
- Professional certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent networking credentials, along with cybersecurity certifications (e.g., Security+, CISSP).
