- Classroom Management: Maintain a positive and structured classroom environment that fosters learning and discipline.
- Instruction: Deliver instruction in various subjects, including math, science, language arts, social studies, and more.
- Individualized Instruction: Differentiate instruction to accommodate varying learning styles and abilities within the classroom.
- Student Engagement: Employ various teaching strategies and resources to keep students actively engaged in the learning process.
- Parent Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with parents, including conferences and progress reports.
- Classroom Environment: Create a welcoming, organized, and visually stimulating classroom that promotes a positive and inclusive atmosphere.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other teachers and staff to coordinate activities and ensure a cohesive educational experience.
- Cultural Sensitivity: Foster an inclusive classroom that respects and celebrates cultural diversity.
- Teaching Degree (Licenciatura completa em Pedagogia)
- Preferably Masters Degree
- Proficiency in English (oral and written) is essential
- 2 years of experience in a similar international school preferred
- Strong knowledge of best practices in science education, including inquiry-based and hands-on teaching methods.
- Experience working with diverse student populations and differentiating instruction.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional learning and innovation in education.
