The Elementary School Senior Learning Assistant supports students with diverse learning needs by providing academic, organizational, and social-emotional assistance under the guidance of teachers, counselors, and learning support specialists. This role helps facilitate student success by promoting independence, engagement, and access to the curriculum within an inclusive learning environment.

- Collaborate with classroom teachers to support differentiated instruction and student engagement.
- Assist in maintaining a positive, inclusive, and productive learning environment.
- Support students during classroom activities, assessments, projects, and presentations as appropriate.
- Help prepare instructional materials and learning resources when needed.
- Work closely with teachers, counselors, learning support specialists, and administrators to support student success.
- Participate in meetings related to student support plans as requested.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding student information and records.
- Communicate professionally with all members of the school community.
- Assist with supervision during designated school activities and transitions as assigned.
- Promote a safe and respectful learning environment aligned with school values and expectations.
- Provide supervision and/or substitution in classes when a teacher is absent
- Bachelor and/or licenciatura concluded (teaching license) in Pedagogy and/or Language in English/Portuguese.
- Technical English/Conversational English.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Demonstrated commitment to inclusion, equity, and student-centered practices.
- Ability to build positive and supportive relationships with students.
