As an IT Intern, you will support daily IT operations, assist end users with technical issues, and contribute to digital transformation initiatives across the organization. Throughout your internship, you will gain hands-on experience with enterprise technologies, including Microsoft 365, cloud services, cybersecurity, AI-driven solutions, and offshore communication systems, while working closely with experienced professionals and developing practical skills in a global business environment.
This is a temporary internship position based in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, reporting directly to the IT Manager.

As an IT Intern, you will support the IT team in delivering reliable technology services to both onshore and offshore operations. Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Provide first-level technical support to end users for hardware, software, and connectivity issues;
  • Assist with the setup, deployment, and maintenance of laptops, desktops, mobile devices, printers, and peripherals;
  • Support Microsoft 365 services, including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, and other collaboration tools;
  • Help manage user accounts, access permissions, and IT asset inventory;
  • Assist in troubleshooting Windows operating systems, standard business applications, and network connectivity issues;
  • Support onboarding and offboarding activities, including user account provisioning and equipment preparation;
  • Participate in cybersecurity awareness initiatives and assist with security-related administrative tasks;
  • Assist in documenting IT procedures, user guides, and technical knowledge base articles;
  • Collaborate with IT teams and external vendors to resolve incidents and service requests;
  • Support IT services for offshore vessels and remote operations when required;
  • Follow company policies, cybersecurity standards, and IT governance procedures.

To succeed in this role, we expect you to:
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field;
  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and SharePoint;
  • Understanding of Windows operating systems and basic IT support concepts;
  • Familiarity with computer hardware, software installation, and troubleshooting;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Ability to communicate effectively with users and work collaboratively in a multicultural environment;
  • You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment supporting both office and offshore operations;
  • Backup routine;
  • Hardware Inventory;
  • Familiarity with Artificial Intelligence tools such as Claude, Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar platforms;
  • Proactive attitude, willingness to learn, and customer-service mindset.
While not mandatory, the following qualifications will be considered an advantage and may help you succeed in this role:  
  • Basic understanding of cloud technologies, preferably Microsoft Azure;
  • Understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals and IT best practices;
  • Knowledge in VSAT, TCP/IP, Wi-Fi, VPN, and remote connectivity;
  • Experience with Zendesk (ITSM);
  • You have an intermediate level of English, both written and spoken.
