As a Technical Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting the technical management of our offshore fleet by ensuring the effective execution of maintenance activities, vessel inspections, and technical follow-up of day-to-day operations.
You will act as the primary link between vessel crews, suppliers, and the shore-based technical team, helping to ensure vessel reliability, safety, and operational readiness.
In addition, this position will be responsible for:
  • Conducting regular vessel visits, technical inspections, and onboard assessments to monitor equipment condition and maintenance standards;
  • Following up preventive and corrective maintenance activities to ensure timely execution and quality of service;
  • Assisting vessel management teams in troubleshooting technical issues and identifying effective solutions;
  • Monitoring technical performance indicators and supporting initiatives to improve fleet reliability and availability;
  • Coordinating service attendance, repairs, and maintenance campaigns together with vessel crews and contractors;
  • Reviewing maintenance records, work orders, and technical reports to ensure proper documentation and compliance;
  • Supporting dry-docking preparation, major overhauls, class surveys, and regulatory inspections when required;
  • Ensuring compliance with company procedures, classification society requirements, flag state regulations, and client expectations;
  • Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement, maintenance optimization, and cost reduction,
  • Providing technical feedback and recommendations to support strategic maintenance planning and fleet development initiatives.

For this role, it is necessary to:
  • Hold a degree in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Naval Engineering, or a related technical field;
  • Have previous experience in vessel maintenance, technical management, ship operations, or offshore support vessels;
  • Demonstrate solid knowledge of marine machinery systems, propulsion equipment, auxiliary systems, and planned maintenance practices;
  • Possess strong organizational and problem-solving skills;
  • Be capable of managing multiple priorities in a dynamic operational environment;
  • Have good communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with vessel crews, suppliers, and stakeholders;
  • Be willing to travel frequently and conduct onboard visits as required,
  • Have professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
While not mandatory, the following qualifications will be considered an advantage and may help you succeed in this role:
  • Previous experience with offshore support vessels (AHTS, PSV, OSRV, RSV or similar);
  • Experience with dry-docking projects, class surveys, and major maintenance campaigns;
  • Familiarity with maintenance management systems (AMOS, Star IPS, TM Master, or equivalent);
  • Knowledge of DP vessels and offshore marine operations;
  • Experience managing contractors and technical service providers,
  • Marine Engineer Certificate of Competency or equivalent maritime background.
