We
are seeking a Third Engineer reports to
the Second Engineer and Chief Engineer and is generally responsible (but not
limited to) for the operation of the main and auxiliary engines, propellers,
and maintenance of other equipment under their responsibility, ensuring compliance
with the instructions of the Chief Engineer, current legislation, class
requirements, and the Company's Management System. Their role involves
supervising operations, ensuring economic efficiency, as well as safety and
environmental protection.
Furthermore, they coordinate and control the team's daily work plans, maintaining constant communication with management and other onboard functions to ensure maximum safety and operational quality.

The Third Engineer reports to the Second
Engineer and Chief Engineer and is responsible for the safe and efficient
operation, monitoring, and maintenance of main and auxiliary engines,
generators, pumps, propulsion systems, and other machinery under their
responsibility;
Conducting routine inspections, monitoring
equipment performance and operational parameters, supporting preventive and
corrective maintenance activities, and ensuring equipment readiness for
offshore operations;
Assists in maintaining the vessel’s power
generation, propulsion, and associated systems, including DP and thruster
systems, as applicable;
Supports the engine room team in daily
activities, maintains accurate technical and operational records, participates
in drills and emergency response activities, and promptly reports any equipment
failure, abnormal condition, or safety concern to the senior engineering team.
To succeed in this role, we expect you to:
- Experience in the role aboard Dynamic Positioning vessels;
- Availability for offshore assignments;
- Commitment to safety and quality in the work environment;
- Valid STCW certificates;
- Proficiency with Word and Excel;
- Advanced English;
- Certificate of Competence issued by the Brazilian Maritime Authority – STCW III/1;
- Basic and Advanced Safety Courses issued by the Brazilian Maritime Authority;
- Special Basic Course in Ship Security Awareness;
- DP Maintenance course;
- Registration and Record Booklet (CIR);
- Yellow Fever Vaccination.
- Experience in Anchor Handling operations;
- Skills in Cutting and Welding.
