Operations Coordinator

We are looking for an Operations Coordinator to join our Operations team and support the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of our offshore support vessels.
In this role, you will be a key link between our vessels, clients, and shore-based teams, coordinating day-to-day operations, supporting vessel requirements, monitoring contractual performance, and ensuring operational matters are addressed effectively and on time.
You will work closely with Masters, clients, and internal departments to support vessel readiness, mobilizations, special operations, port calls, and overall service delivery, while maintaining a strong focus on safety, customer satisfaction, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence. We are looking for someone with solid experience in the offshore maritime industry, preferably with exposure to PSV, RSV and/or AHTS operations, who combines operational knowledge with strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

As an Operations Coordinator, you’ll have the opportunity to coordinate vessel operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable delivery service. You’ll act as a key link between vessels, clients, and shore-based teams, supporting vessel readiness, mobilizations, port calls, inspections, and other requirements.
In addition, this position will be responsible for:
  • Monitor operational and contractual performance, proactively addressing issues and minimizing disruptions, deductions, and penalties.
  • Ensure compliance with Company procedures, client requirements, applicable regulations, and industry standards.
  • Follow up on operational findings, vessel requirements, and corrective actions, coordinating with relevant departments and escalating significant risks when required.

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the offshore maritime industry.
  • Degree in Nautical Sciences, Marine Engineering, Engineering, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Solid knowledge of offshore support vessel operations, preferably involving PSV, RSV and/or AHTS vessels.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to effectively interact with clients, vessel crews, and multidisciplinary shore-based teams.
  • Fluent Portuguese and good command of English, both written and spoken.
  • Availability to travel and support vessel operations outside regular business hours when operationally required.
While not mandatory, the following qualifications will be considered an advantage and may help you succeed in this role:
  • Familiarity with DP operations, OCIMF/OVID requirements, and offshore industry standards.
  • Knowledge of the Brazilian offshore regulatory environment, including Brazilian Navy and local content requirements.
  • Experience with vessel management and ERP systems, such as UniSea and IFS.
  • Experience supporting vessel mobilizations, special operations, inspections, and operational readiness.
