As an Operations Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the offshore industry by supporting the daily activities of the Operations team. You will assist in coordinating vessel operations, monitoring maintenance and operational schedules, organizing reports and documentation, and working with systems such as IFS, UNISEA, and CFM. 
The role also involves interacting with different departments—including Technical, Crewing, Supply Chain, and HSE—as well as supporting communication with local agents, service providers, and customers. Throughout the internship, you will be exposed to real operational challenges, contribute to ongoing projects, support logistics and port-related activities, and participate in initiatives focused on safety, continuous improvement, and operational efficiency. 
This is an intern and temporary position based in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and reporting to the Operations Manager. If you can imagine yourself in this role, we look very much forward hearing from you. We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented professional with strong organisational skills, eager to work in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate is motivated to support daily operational activities, contribute to process efficiency, and gain hands-on experience in maritime operations and logistics.
To succeed in this role, we expect you to:

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree in Engineering or a related field;
  • Advanced level of English for reading and writing;
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office;
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and sense of responsibility;
  • Good communication skills and a proactive attitude;
  • Availability to undertake the internship for 6 working hours.
While not mandatory, the following qualifications will be considered an advantage and may help you succeed in this role:

  • Ability to support the development of Excel reports, spreadsheets, and operational controls is a plus;
  • Basic knowledge of Power BI is considered an advantage;
  • Basic understanding of OSV vessel operations and offshore support vessel setups is a plus.
