- Write and review user stories with clear acceptance criteria that tie back to customer value.
- Support backlog prioritization sessions by bringing in insights from customer feedback, support tickets, competitor analysis, and AI-driven analytics.
- Collaborate with Engineering, QA, and UX to validate features and ensure solutions meet customer needs.
- Assist in acceptance testing and confirm readiness of features against defined outcomes.
- Track and report progress of assigned stories, escalating blockers as needed to maintain timely delivery.
- Monitor post-release adoption metrics and customer feedback with the aid of AI tools to help evaluate feature success.
- Participate actively in sprint ceremonies and retrospectives, focusing on how delivery impacts customer and business value.
- Participate in customer discovery calls and feedback sessions to capture insights.
- Shadow Product Managers during interviews and begin conducting portions of discovery conversations with guidance.
- Synthesize customer and market insights into actionable recommendations for backlog refinement.
- Analyze support tickets and customer feedback to identify recurring themes and unmet needs.
- Document competitor product features to assess differentiation and identify opportunities to deliver more value.
- Leverage AI tools to analyze large volumes of customer feedback and market data, turning unstructured information into actionable insights.
- Prepare and maintain product roadmap artifacts that align initiatives with customer needs and business priorities.
- Share clear updates and documentation with cross-functional partners to align around customer impact.
- Support roadmap communication by preparing summaries, feature updates, and demo materials that highlight customer value.
- Contribute to quarterly planning and alignment activities, ensuring customer perspectives are incorporated into priorities.
- Assist in defining simple success metrics (e.g., adoption, usage, customer satisfaction) for new features.
- Monitor feature adoption and usage trends and share insights with the product team.
- Support reporting efforts by compiling data from analytics and customer feedback to measure value delivered.
- Use AI-driven reporting and dashboards to surface trends in feature adoption and customer usage.
- Actively develop product management skills through mentorship, shadowing, and hands-on contributions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 0–2 years of direct product management experience, or equivalent experience in a related field with exposure to product development.
- Foundational understanding of Agile Scrum practices and customer-driven product development.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to represent customer needs clearly.
- Demonstrated analytical and organizational skills to track outcomes and measure value.
- Previous professional experience in technology, SaaS, or customer-facing roles (e.g., Customer Success, Business Analysis, QA, or Engineering).
- Familiarity with Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar.
- Exposure to SaaS platforms, integrations, or enterprise software environments.
- Interest and/ro experience in laboratory, quality management, or compliance software and how these solutions deliver customer value.
